Reed College

Winch is part of the Old Dorm Block that was built in 1912 and remodeled in 1992. The design was inspired by old English manor houses, with grotesques scattered about the roofs and doorways. Old Dorm Block is divided into eight conjoining residence halls: Winch, Quincy, Doyle, Eastport, Westport, Kerr, Abington, and Ladd. These residence halls are some of the most popular on campus, as they are quite spacious and many have fireplaces, balconies, and window seats. Other amenities include kitchenettes (without ovens), a large lounge with a TV and pool table, a laundry room, bike storage, and student storage space.

The students community of poets at San Mateo County Community College District is planning to organize a new event in this hall. Mostly, all writers begin as poets and it's natural. What is peculiar though - the fact that almost none of them becomes a great poet. I've reviewed students' poetry and consider all the pieces unique and exquisite.
