The national Sleep Awareness Week is March 8-14. We all need more sleep, so the Wellness Committee is challenging you to be your Best Slept Self this month.

On Friday, March 13 from noon - 1pm, join yoga teacher Sally Garrido-Spencer in the Sports Center Upper Fitness Room for a Yoga Nidra class. R.S.V.P is encouraged, but not required, so bring a friend and encourage others to attend. More information is below: 

Yoga Nidra can be described as a state of consciousness somewhere between waking and sleeping, typically induced by guided meditation. It allows deep relaxation while maintaining awareness, and can help with stress, sleep disorders, and emotional processing. In this practice, you will experience: 
1. Stillness - Body fully relaxed. 
2. Mind Quieting - Guided awareness reduces mental chatter. 
3. Deep Rest - Body sleeps, mind stays lightly aware.
