The personal statement is an open space for you to share something unique about yourself. Think of it as a conversation with the admission committee that helps them get to know you. After reading thousands of essays, our counselors are experts in what works and what falls short in the personal statement. In this interactive workshop, Roja Ross, Assistant Dean of Admission, will help you think through essay topics, share tips on the writing and editing process, and break down examples of real college essays. Gain clarity and direction from this workshop and find the focus you need to finish your best college application essay.

Please complete the form here to register for this session. You will receive a confirmation email after you submit your registration, which will include a link to the pertinent Zoom connection information. Please note that all times are listed in Pacific Time.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the Office of Admission at 503/777- 7511. We look forward to connecting with you!
