If you are working in a field that requires any amount of data analysis, learning a little bit about a coding language will save you a lot of time in the long run. This class will introduce you to R and focus on how you can use it to save time in your analyses even while doing the absolute bare minimum in terms of learning to code. Coding is not as hard as it seems; if you can write out explicit directions for what you want to do in plain English and you know how to cut and paste, you can do it. This class assumes no knowledge of R and will be an overview rather than focusing on specifics. If you're looking for a more practical class, look for the Intro R Workshop, also during Paideia.
