Fernando A. Flores was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and raised in South Texas. His most recent books are the novel Tears of the Trufflepig and the short story collection Valleyesque, and his second novel, Brother Brontë, is forthcoming February 2025. He lives in Austin, Texas.
