The hit gacha game Honkai: Star Rail's main method of profit comes from users gambling to acquire characters, and naturally, one way the game makes characters appealing is by having them act flirtatiously with the self-insert protagonist. At the same time, game studio Hoyoverse is notorious for coding queer relationships between their characters. This presentation will attempt to compile all the somewhat-canon, somewhat-headcanon romantic subtext between Star Rail's characters, revealing the vast network of (mostly queer) polyamory that emerges. WARNING! This presentation will contain spoilers for the story of Honkai: Star Rail so far, and will be extremely subjective!
