Submit your translation (into English) of a brief text (200-250 words) in the language of your choice. Selected translations will be compiled in a booklet with the original and translation on facing pages. During the symposium, students will present their translation and say a few words about the text they have chosen. Please join us in celebrating the linguistic diversity of our community! Refreshments will be served.
Monday, October 28, by 5:00 p.m.: deadline for submission of original text and translation. The translation must be your own (i.e., we are not interested in someone else's translation of your favorite text). Texts should be brief (200-250 words). If selected, each student will have five minutes to present the translation and commentary. Submit entries to https://tinyurl.com/TranslationSymposium
Wednesday, November 6: announcement of translations chosen for the symposium.
