Join fellow Reedies to celebrate the food and drink created by one of our own–Jehnee Rains ’93. Rains is the owner and chef of Suzette Crêperie, a French-inspired crêperie and bistro that has been a mainstay of SE Belmont since 2012. Rains serves all manner of crêpes, including vegan, gluten-free, vegetarian, and dessert crêpes, as well as French classics like French onion soup, Quiche Lorraine, seasonal salads and tartines.
Rains is a renowned and accomplished pastry chef who began her career working in the pastry departments of Chez Panisse and Quince in the Bay Area, and Portland restaurants Ripe, Bluehour, and Clarklewis. Suzette began, like many great Portland restaurants do, as a food cart in the Alberta District, before moving into its current space on Belmont Street in 2012.
