Parent & Family Orientation: The Reed Classroom

The heart of Reed life is the classroom:  the studio, the seminar room, the lab, and the lecture hall. In this session, Jon Rork, George Hay Professor of Economics and director of Reed's Center for Teaching and Learning, will lead a discussion about the Reed classroom. You will learn how our faculty structure their classes to foster an education of the richest sort and what it means at Reed to be a faculty scholar dedicated, first, to teaching.
