"I’m the Director of Experience Research Practices on the Adobe Design Team. I’ve been in UX Research and design for more than 20 years. I graduated from Reed 30 years ago and as luck would have it, both of my children decided to attend Reed (but will remain unnamed to protect the innocent). I wrote my thesis in cognitive psychology, which had a huge impact on my later decision to get a PhD in Cognitive Science and eventually landed me a role doing UX Research at Microsoft. Over the years I’ve mentored (and even hired) many Reedies with backgrounds in psychology, design, anthropology and human-computer interaction and taught them how to use their research and design thinking skills to become talented product researchers.
