Join the theatre department for three productions in one weekend with our thesis festival! Thesising seniors will be presenting their work in The Lightning Thief, Agamemnon, and Matt & Ben.
The Lightning Thief:
Daniel Yogi presents a staged reading of The Lightning Thief by Joe Tracz. Adapted from the best-selling book The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan and featuring a thrilling original rock score, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical is an action-packed mythical adventure "worthy of the gods"
Agamemnon:
Faith Roche presents Anne Carson's translation of Aeschylus's classic Agamemnon. Agamemnon, Faith writes, "is an unstoppable prophecy, a world of its own that questions the furthest reaches of human agency, the nature of the goddess named Justice, a story that rages against archaic systems of violence and oppressive authority with a righteous fury all its own."
Matt and Ben:
Maya Galvin presents Matt & Ben, an uproarious comedy written by Brenda Withers and Mindy Kaling, about the titular "Hollywood golden boys – before J-Lo, before Gwyneth, before Project Greenlight, before Oscar… before anyone actually gave a damn."
