Learn how to make your own yarn! Clean, carded fiber (sheep wool and/or alpaca) will be provided as well as a drop spindle for up to 10 students. We will start with an overview of commonly available animal fibers, and learn how to draft, spin, and ply on a top whorl drop spindle.
