The Sustainability and Environmental Justice (SEJ) Collective, a collaboration between Sustainability, Environmental Humanities, and Student Life, will be hosting a launch party on Friday, September 27th, from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. The event will feature examples from a natural dye workshop using flowers from the garden, facilitated by art professor Gerri Ondrizek, introductory remarks from Dr. Karnell McConnell-Black and the SEJ team (Megan Simón, Sarah Wagner-McCoy, and Rachel Willis), as well as performances by the Reed Bluegrass Band. Attendees will have the chance to learn more about Reed’s SEJ collective and meet the SEJ Scholar, Esmé Kaplan-Kinsey. Come for live music, food, gardening and great conversation!
