Georgian food is finally gaining long-overdue recognition on the US restaurant scene. This is Georgia the country - not the Peach State. This unique cuisine with an ancient heritage from the Caucasus Mountains has been featured in media from Newsweek to The New Yorker. Characteristic ingredients include cilantro, walnuts, and pomegranate.
The menu at Supra is well-suited to vegetarian palates and offers some exceptional vegan delights such as badrijani nigvzit (eggplant rolls with walnuts, cilantro and pomegranate) and pkhali (roasted vegetable pâté with garlic, coriander, and tarragon). The Georgian Benedict features poached eggs on traditional Georgian mchadi (corn cakes) with a Georgian-spiced hollandaise sauce.
Restaurant Week features a brunch menu for $22 that includes signature dishes from the regular menu. Come see what the buzz is about and give Georgian food a try.
