The Reed Chorus and Collegium Musicum perform music on the theme of female prophecy. The concert will feature Lassus' setting of the ancient Jewish sibylline texts foretelling the arrival of the Messiah, music by medieval mystic and Benedictine abbess Hildeegard von Bingen, Schubert's setting of the song of Miriam, as well as a 20th-century musical 'prophets' Lili Boulanger and Lori Anderson.
