I'm an artist who works primarily with digital technologies. I’m currently working with  the material possibilities of bringing the digital into the physical. I’ve previously worked with 3D and VR modeling, plexiglass, and small-scale installation. This piece is primarily an experiment in overstimulation and curation. For me, the curatorial practice of selecting TikToks to compile is an exercise in endurance. I find myself increasingly alienated from new technologies aimed at young people. I believe that there is a synthetic reality that develops within apps like TikTok, and I wanted to explore what the experience of a 40+ minute browsing spree on TikTok would actually feel like. By separating the audio from the visual component, I wanted to encourage people to consider the individual elements of a hyperstimulating medium like TikTok in a new context within a physical space and without the involvement of a screen.
