This event is a collaboration with The Graft Union Reading Series, a community-driven collective for students and emergent writers in Portland. Here, students will have the chance to listen to poetry readings, purchase art, listen to live music, and participate in an open mic session, all in order to uplift and celebrate a diverse group of voices in an intimate space.

Reed Arts Fest—aka RAW—is Reed College’s annual student-curated arts festival. Founded by students and faculty in 1990, RAW presents an interdisciplinary array of visual, performance, and literary works by Reed students and internationally celebrated artists who visit campus during the festival. The theme of this year’s festival—Moonage Daydream—reflects the curators’ interest in identity-based art manifested in community and collaboration. Come together, make things, feel human.

Events take place throughout the Reed College campus and are free and open to the public. Light refreshments accompany each event. RAW 2025 is organized by: Ella Arnold ’25, Ava Burge ’25, Lia Christenson ’25, Freya Church ’25, and Madeleine Voth ’25.
