The Sense of an Ending by Julian Barnes

From the NYT review:

The Sense of an Ending is a short book [163 pages], but not a slight one. In it Julian Barnes reveals crystalline truths that have taken a lifetime to harden. He has honed their edges, and polished them to a high gleam."

Barnes was awarded the Man Booker Prize in 2011 for The Sense of an Ending.

Anyone who has read the month’s selection is welcome, as are new participants; no long-term commitment required. Email the hosts at least two days before the meeting if you plan to attend. Contact Peter Greenfield ’67 with questions or suggestions.
