Moriah Tobin '11, Deja vu Security
Cyber security is a field that is growing fast where demand far exceeds supply, and where most educational institutes don't do a good job of preparing people for the job market. What sorts of careers are there in cyber security? How can you learn on your own to be competitive in the industry? What skills are you learning right now at Reed that will make you a great fit for this expanding market? Come find out at this week's physics colloquium where alumnus Moriah Tobin who left graduate school in experimental particle physics after 5.5 years and has been working in cyber security for the past 2.5 years as a security consultant will take you through all this and a, hopefully lively, Q&A session.
