About this Event
The exhibition takes the form of a non-linear exploration of the sounds, sights, and smells of four unique living spaces. Completed in the summer of 2022 as part of the Reed Art Grant Experience, the main object of the exhibition takes the form of a doll's house, which was built to represent the spaces I inhabited during my first three years at Reed College. The project uses memory as source material and the spaces are represented sculpturally and sonically in order to emphasize the non-ocular sensorial aspects of space. Come ready to think/talk about the intersections between inhabited spaces and emotion, memory, and identity. Sign-up here: forms.gle/DMF8EDfKyavGZxAf6
Formatted as an open exhibition rather than a traditional class. Special thanks to Daniel Duford and Jolie Griffin.
*please note: you do not need to sign-up to attend, I would just like to have a gauge of how many people will be coming
*cw - written mentions of depression, anxiety, self-harm
