The task of being able to recognize, describe, and record coats of arm became a full time occupation for heralds in the late middle ages, requiring the development of a whole grammatical and linguistic system known as blazoning. In this class, you will learn a brief bit of history about heraldry and its development, how to describe coats of arms, and common conventions before making your own!
