 c director of Rosie Herrera Dance Theater in Miami. Also\, classically trai
 ned as lyric coloratura soprano\, Herrera stages dance-theater\, opera and 
 cabaret as well as collaborating in the creation of original short films an
 d music videos. Known for its diverse ensemble that consists of some of Mia
 mi’s most brilliant performers/creators in theater\, performance art\, oper
 a\, drag\, and contemporary ballet\, Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre has quickl
 y become a beloved fixture in the contemporary arts scene in Miami and beyo
 nd. Their NYC premiere of Various Stages of Drowning: A Cabaret was said by
  Kayt MacMaster of BroadwayWorld.com to be “so innovative\, searing and dis
 turbing…” that it warranted “repeat viewings…” and their NYC premiere of Di
 ning Alone was hailed by Deborah Jowitt as “earthy\, poetic and beyond dada
  imaginative.”
