Hosted by Daniel Shaw, this session offers a quiet space to settle the nervous system and be together without pressure to analyze or respond to events. We will begin with simple breath awareness, followed by gentle floor-based movement practiced mostly on the back, restorative poses, and a guided Progressive Muscle Relaxation. The hour will close with a brief loving-kindness meditation. Everything is invitational—participants may rest, modify, or simply be present. No prior yoga or meditation experience is needed, and all mats, blankets, and props will be provided. The intention is modest: one hour where breath can soften, muscles can unclench, and the community can share silence without needing to explain, perform, or fix anything.

This event is part of the Day of Reflection and Community Action, featuring workshops and activities led by students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The day is designed to create space for learning, feeling, dialogue, and connection.
