Lunch and Learn: Machine Shop Facilities and Equipment

How do traditional machining and modern digital fabrication techniques such as laser cutting, 3D printing, and solid modeling fit into a Reed education? Jay Ewing '97 from the physics department will discuss our facilities and equipment and describe how they've been utilized by students, faculty, and staff at the college thus far and how they might be utilized similarly or differently in the future.
