"Leave No Trace" Film Screening

Acting President Hugh Porter invites you to a screening of Leave No Trace, a film based on the novel My Abandonment by Professor Peter Rock. After the screening, President Porter will lead a discussion with Professor Rock that includes an audience Q&A.

My Abandonment was inspired by the true story of a thirteen-year-old girl who in 2004 was found living with her father in Portland’s Forest Park. Through the sincere voice of Caroline, the young narrator, Rock creates a riveting journey into life at the margins and a mesmerizing tale of survival and hope.
