About this Event
This class will describe the nature of public policy analysis (short answer=the application of systematic evidence and logic to real-world problems), the variety of careers in policy (short answer=policy makers who decide policy, policy implementers who make it happen, policy analysts who evaluate how policy is working and what promising new policies might work), the type of person who is likely to get satisfaction in a policy career (short answer=you want to make a difference in the world), and how a Reed education can be a good first step towards a rewarding career in policy.
