Learn to identify mushrooms without an app! We will go over different kinds of mushrooms that grow in the Pacific Northwest and discuss the features that distinguish them, including spore color, gill attachment, and habitat. This class will highlight some of the most abundant and prominent fungi in the canyon and around campus. It will also include a discussion of general mushroom hunting tips and ethics.
