This class discusses the theory of labor organizing through defining unrecognized workers and the unique role they play within society. It will cover the methodology for organizing the unorganized. We will also discuss how to advance the needs and interests of low-paid workers. This course will be taught by Reed College alumni and volunteer labor organizer Molly Moir in conjunction with labor organization Friends of Seasonal and Service Workers (FSSW).
