This class will be taught collaboratively by members of Liberation Literacy (non-profit working inside/outside local prisons) and Reed faculty. The morning session will focus on short readings about incarceration. The afternoon session will train participants in the basics of working with the formerly incarcerated as they re-enter life in the community. All those interested in working on Reed's NW5C community engagement grant with Liberation Literacy are encouraged to attend. All others are welcome too. Led by Nathalia King and Dustin Simpson.
