Twenty years ago I struggled to speak up in Hum conference, and I know many of you struggle similarly in Hum or other conference classes. I’ve learned some tricks over the years (including from being a professor myself) that have helped me navigate courses like these and I’d like to share with you and hear your experiences. Reed does have a stress culture and it would be my greatest joy to help rip it to shreds like it’s Pentheus and I’m a maenad. (Do y’all still read The Bacchae?)
