About this Event
Do you enjoy bamboozling, betrayal, and backstabbery? Come and learn about the history of engaging in these antisocial behaviors for fun in a prosocial way, and perhaps participate in this playful pastime! We'll start by defining the genre of social deduction, then look at how it's evolved over time, talk about how to keep the drama in the game and make games more accessible so that everyone can have fun, discuss strategies to help you win, play a round or two of one of if not the best social deduction game ever made (assuming enough willing participants), and wrap up with a brief reflection. All are welcome regardless of experience or ability; if any part of this piques your interest, this class is for you.
