Students, alumni, staff, parents, friends and relatives and even faculty need housing. How about developing housing solutions for ourselves in Portland, in OR, in the USA and/or internationally? Maybe you have a vacant house, room or land or know someone who does. Let’s get our brains working together to find solutions to some of our biggest needs and take the first steps on a thousand-step journey. Do you have knowledge of any of the construction trades, finance, community investment trusts, real estate, cohousing, youth hostels, legal or any related areas? If not that’s OK. We can all learn. You are invited to brainstorm with me and others on how to best initiate these efforts.
