Are you a second-year female student seeking a competitive finance internship next summer? Girls Who Invest (GWI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of women in investment and leadership positions in the industry. GWI is accepting applications for its 2023 cohort of scholars. You’ll be hearing from previous GWI alumni about their summer experience, application tips, and general finance industry advice!
This session will be hosted by CLBR staff and Emma Thoron: Emma is an economics major writing a thesis on the U.S. unemployment rate and GDP. She is graduating in the fall of 2022. During her time at Reed, she has worked as teacher for Science Outreach, a research assistant for the Department of Economics, a course assistant and grader for the Department of Mathematics, and a lead caller at Reed's Phon-a-thon. Emma also runs the Reed's Finance club which gives students the opportunity to invest part of Reed's endowment in the stock market. She currently interns at The Cadmus Group, a consulting firm based out of Washington D.C.
