Flor del Aire: Songs from the Rustic Heart of Latin America

The musical duo Flor del Aire from Buenos Aires, Argentina searches for beauty and expression through the interpretation of traditional Latin American songs and the exploration of their own compositional restlessness. With voice, violin, and guitar, they traverse the work of great regional composers such as Atahualpa Yupanqui, Leda Valladares, and Violeta Parra and perform original works born from the fundamental influence of this exquisite repertoire. Featuring Christine Brebes on violin/vocals and Nadia on guitar/vocals.

Co-sponsored by the departments of music, Spanish, and political science, the American Studies program, the Office for Institutional Diversy, and the Dean of Faculty's office. Free and open to the public.
