Join us for a film talk by Grace An, Associate Professor of Cinema Studies and French at Oberlin College, where she has just finished a term as director of the Cinema Studies Program. Her teaching and research interests include the documentary and essay film 1968, militant cinema, the history of the film actor, and French feminisms. She has published on directors Olivier Assayas, Alain Resnais, Chris Marker, Jean-Luc Godard, and Ulrike Ottinger. An's books in progress include Disobedient Muse: Delphine Seyrig, Feminism, and The Cinema, and a project on Jane Fonda in Vietnam.
