Reedies Eat Pizza—Fall Young Alumni Party

The Washington, D.C. Chapter warmly invites you to a fall gathering celebrating and welcoming new and recent graduates to the area. Alumni of all ages are welcome to join us at a pizza party at Timber Pizza, widely considered to be one of the top pizza restaurants in the region. Food and drink are courtesy of Reed.

We'll eat at the tables and benches outside, if weather permits. The restaurant normally opens at 5 p.m. but they are opening 30 minutes early to take our orders and serve us before the lines run out the door, as they often do.

RSVPs appreciated by Friday, October 25, via email or the Facebook event, but last-minute additions are welcome.

Timber Pizza executive Chef Dani Moreira (previously of the Michelin-starred Eleven Madison Park in NYC) has been elevating the Timber dining experience since early 2016. Described as "Neapolitan-ish," the individual-sized pies include the Green Monster (pesto, fresh mozzarella, feta cheese, zucchini, and kale); the Ackley (olive oil, provolone, mozzarella, butternut squash, arugula-lemon pesto drizzle, sweet potato fritters and pumpkin seeds); and the Penelope (pesto, fresh mozzarella, bacon, mushrooms and smoked paprika). Delicious add-ons include pumpkin seeds, pepperoni, mushrooms, and slow-roasted pork.
