DESCRIPTION:Gather with other Reed-area alumni and friends at the home of R
 ichard Goodwin ’63 and Judith Bell ’63. Bring children\, friends\, and fami
 ly—there’s room for all! Hamburgers\, hot dogs\, and vegetarian fare will b
 e on the grill. We will also have drinks. Because the picnic also constitut
 es the annual meeting of the Washington DC Chapter\, officers will be elect
 ed.\n\nPlease bring a side dish or dessert to share and contribute to the k
 itty: $12 for alumni 2017 or earlier (with their families\, $25)\; $10 for 
 alumni 2018 or later (with their families\, $17). Free for returning or inc
 oming students (with their families\, $12).\n\nWe could really use some hel
 p setting up the day before. This is physical work and you should probably 
 wear work clothes. If you can devote some time the day before for one of th
 ese shifts\, contact Dave at the number below (if you can’t do these shifts
 \, but could do other times\, let Dave know that too):\n\nFriday\, Sept. 6:
   9 am to 1 pm\nFriday\, Sept. 6: 10 am to 2 pm\nFriday\, Sept. 6:  12 noon
  to 4 pm\n\nAlso\, we are looking for volunteers to help with the grilling.

 is not accessible by Metro. Paul Levy ’72 (plevy@citizen.org) is matching t
