Gather with other Reed-area alumni and friends at the home of Richard Goodwin ’63 and Judith Bell ’63. Bring children, friends, and family—there’s room for all! Hamburgers, hot dogs, and vegetarian fare will be on the grill. We will also have drinks. Because the picnic also constitutes the annual meeting of the Washington DC Chapter, officers will be elected.

Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and contribute to the kitty: $12 for alumni 2017 or earlier (with their families, $25); $10 for alumni 2018 or later (with their families, $17). Free for returning or incoming students (with their families, $12).

We could really use some help setting up the day before. This is physical work and you should probably wear work clothes. If you can devote some time the day before for one of these shifts, contact Dave at the number below (if you can’t do these shifts, but could do other times, let Dave know that too):

Friday, Sept. 6:  9 am to 1 pm
Friday, Sept. 6: 10 am to 2 pm
Friday, Sept. 6:  12 noon to 4 pm

The location is not accessible by Metro. Paul Levy ’72 (plevy@citizen.org) is matching those willing to give rides with those needing a ride to the picnic}. RSVP’s appreciated, but not required, to Dave at the contact information above.
