EHS and the Safety Committee are sponsoring CPR/First Aid training for all interested faculty, staff, and students. Please email ehs@reed.edu to register. 

The first part of this course is designed for anyone outside of the medical community that is interested or required to learn the basic skills in aiding in cardiac arrest. Covered is conscious choking, CPR, and Automated External Defibrillator or "AED" for the adult, child, and infant victim. 

The second part of the course will cover the steps to aid in many different minor medical situations including bleeding, burns, broken bones, stroke, heart attacks, and severe allergy reaction with EPI pen administration. 

You will leave the course with certification in both First Aid and CPR.
