Yoram Bauman ’95 has a PhD in economics but makes a living doing stand-up comedy about economics and politics. He also writes cartoon books—most recently The Cartoon Introduction to Calculus—and he’s co-founded two state-level carbon tax campaigns, one in 2016 in Washington State (Initiative 732) and one that is currently collecting signatures to get on the 2020 ballot in Utah (CleanTheDarnAir.org). What’s funny about calculus, climate action, and economics? Come and find out!
