In order to help protect the health of event participants and our community, Reed College is following the advice of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding mass gatherings and large community events. Some programs and events at Reed may be canceled or postponed due to COVID-19 prevention efforts.
Prior to attending an event, we strongly encourage you to check Reed’s events calendar at events.reed.edu for status updates. Questions? Please contact the conference & events planning office at 503-777-7522.
*THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELED.*
You are invited to join in and celebrate Reed College's oldest tradition as we clean and restore a portion of the Reed Canyon. This event is part of our ongoing effort to improve the headwaters of Crystal Springs Creek by planting native trees and shrubs, and helping remove invasive plants.
The event is free—tools, training, food, and fun provided—and open to everyone. Bring gloves or your favorite weeding tool, if you have them!
Meet fellow Reedies at the northwest corner of the lower Canyon, below Sequoia residence hall anytime between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m..
For more information, contact Dylan Carlson (via email or call 971-401-3975) or Zac Perry (via email or call 503-572-8636).
