All this month, the Alumni Board’s Xenia initiative celebrates Reedies' commitment to community service, philanthropy, and acts of kindness.

On this Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 16, 2023 join Reedies across the country in participating in acts of community service in our respective areas.

In Boston we will stock the community fridges in Mattapan, Cambridge, Medford, and Somerville. Please bring UP TO 1 SHOPPING BAG (bringing just a few items you have lying around is OK too!) to one of the community fridges and coordinate with the designated people to connect with other Reedies.

Mattapan Fridge is at 1290 Blue Hill Ave. Contact person is Eve at evelyons@yahoo.com or 617-730-3650.

Somerville Fridge is at 36 Sewall St. Contact person is Allyson Lazar at allyson.lazar@gmail.com.

Medford Fridge is at 33 St. Clements Rd. Contact person is Susan Landy at susanlandy32@gmail.com or 781-488-8716.

Cambridge Fridge is beside the First Church in Harvard Sq (11 Church St) and the contact person is Rachael Dorr at rachael.dorr@comcast.net or 617-429-5318.

After we've stocked some fridges we will meet up at Ula Cafe at 1pm in Jamaica Plain (284 Amory St) to grab some lunch, debrief, and chat.
