Brown tree snakes (Boiga irregularis) are a notorious invasive species responsible for several extinctions and extirpations after their introduction to the island of Guam. This talk will delve into the specialized toxins of these snakes to address whether this invasion was a product of chance or a historical inevitably.
Daniel Dashevsky's research focuses on the evolution of snake and wasp venom.
