Fishing for clues: Examining the role of pigment cell genes in non-pigment cell development

In this seminar, Professor Cooper will discuss the cell and developmental biology mechanisms used by zebrafish to create their characteristic stripes. She will also discuss the role black pigment cells or genes play in promoting correct development of non-pigmented neighboring cells.
