About this Event
Becoming more aware of our own biases and how they impact others is vital for a healthy, safer, and welcoming community. Implicit biases perpetuate the oppression of others, creates pile on effect of microaggressions, and decrease one’s sense of belonging in their work environment. In this class participants will share and learn about ways to embed an equity mindset to discuss implicit biases and ways to be become more accountable in our day to day lives.
This is a two-part class (sign up for both Jan 25 and 26 times, taken either in person or virtually. The two- part sessions are: 10am-12pm on Jan 25 and 26 in person (Vollum 116) or 2:00pm-4:00pm on Jan 25 and 26 (via Zoom).
Class is limited to 30 participants.
