Antarctica: The Quest for the Antarctic Circle

We are fortunate to have a prominent Reed alumna as our special expert on this exclusive trip. Dr. Kelly Falkner '83 is director of Polar Programs for the National Science Foundation. She will provide insight into climate change issues as well as the ongoing science being conducted in Antarctica. We will leave from the Punta Arenas in Chile and fly to the Falkland Islands where we will board the Vavilov, a scientific research vessel that is especially suited for travel to this unbelievably beautiful part of the world. Prices from $11,500. We have a limited number of berths on the Vavilov, so reserve today!
