Reed Theatre invites you to join a performance of Antígona Furiosa, a thesis project lead and conceived by Sizheng Song '23 and directed by Luz Vazquez '24.

Antígona Furiosa is Griselda Gambaro's 1986 reimagination of the story of Antigone, written in light of Argentina's then recent state terrorism. Introducing puppetry practices and live music, this production is a burial rite to put the past to rest by conjuring the dead to tell their stories. Come witness a grief that extends beyond death, ponder the absurdity of absolute state power, and mourn a girl who dies yet does not die.

Content warnings:
Suicide, grief, loss, allusions to state terrorism
