There has been a modern revival of polytheistic religions from around the world. In this class, I will teach about the revival of Norse Polytheism, its history, and common practices within the community. I will also teach about the Pre-Christian Norse people, commonly called Vikings, and what their beliefs looked like and how those are adapted that into a newer belief system. Finally, I will discuss how white supremacists have co-opted Ásatrú symbolism, and how to avoid the Neo-Nazis who use its symbolism.
