Join Chicago area Reedies for a matinee performance of A Baker Street Christmas Caper. The show is free and open to the public.
Crime does not take a holiday during the Christmas season, as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson discover in The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle, Arthur Conan Doyle’s short story adapted for the stage by Shakespeare Project of Chicago artistic director Peter Garino. A few clues: a top hat, a “stuffed” Christmas goose, and a very precious stone that has gone missing. Featuring some of your favorite Shakespeare Project actors.
Enjoy free hot chocolate and holiday treats, and listen to a selection of English Christmas carols from the Victorian and Edwardian periods, preceding the performance.
