Foster-Scholz Dinner Theatre: "These Violent Delights"

In a threatening world, what does safety mean, and when do we get to be vulnerable? In These Violent Delights, a group of students reenact Romeo and Juliet in order to break from an oppressive structure and reveal hidden aspects of their gender and sexuality. This adaptation takes its inspiration from Joe Calarco’s 1999 adaptation of Romeo and Juliet.

  • Dinner and presentation by Kate Duffly, assistant professor of theatre: 6—7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Building, 3rd floor
  • Play: 7:30 p.m., Performing Arts Building, Diver Studio Theatre
